Ancestral Foodways Panel and Dinner

Sean Sherman Comes to Maydan Market

Join us on Monday, April 13th for a one night only collaborative dinner and speaking panel featuring special guest Chef Sean Sherman (The Sioux Chef).

At 4:30pm, Chef Sean, along with Odilia Romero & Poncho Martinez of Lugya'h, will lead a conversation on how ancestral foodways are shaping the future of American cuisine. Moderated by Javier Cabral of LA Taco, this panel explores the intersection of culture, identity, and politics through the lens of food.

After the panel, join us for dinner at Maydan, where we'll share our communal fire and create a meal that celebrates cuisine rooted in tradition, history, and storytelling. Along with dinner, enjoy wines from Tara Gomez and Mireia Taribó, the wife and wife winemaking team behind Camins 2 Dreams.
