Market Meditation Ceremony

Join us at Sook @ Maydan Market on Monday, August 31st from 6-9pm in partnership with our friends at House of Leyli & Skaf's Sweets for an evening of mindfulness, relaxation, and connection.


The evening will begin with a tea-inspired welcome mocktail as you arrive and settle in for a guided Persian Tea Meditation led by Hediya Sizar of House of Leyli. This practice will weave together tea tasting, Persian music, poetry, and visualization. The experience is intended to awaken the senses, ground the body, and open the heart.

Following the meditation, stick around for light bites from Sook, House of Leyli, and Skaf's. Wines by the glass, additional food items, and retail products will be available for purchase!

Join us on Monday, March 23 from 5:30–8:30pm at Maydan Market for an evening of hands-on cooking, great company, and delicious food and wine. This special event is held in celebration of Women’s History Month and in collaboration with Regarding Her (RE:Her), honoring women in the culinary industry.

Chef Wedchayan “Deau” Arpapornnopparat of LA’s highly acclaimed restaurant Holy Basil has launched a brand-new concept, Golden Mountain Chicken, at Maydan Market in West Adams! This evolution reflects Deau’s signature style—staying true to street-inspired flavors while weaving in new cooking techniques.
